Naropa Festival : The Kumbh of Ladakh
Naropa Festival is held at the famous Hemis Monastery, which lies at some 40 km from Leh. It is one of the biggest and most important Buddhist monastery in the country, and houses relics and texts of grave importance in its precincts. Naropa Festival saw over 200 artists perform to different themes of music, culture and dance from across India. With over 50 cylinders of oxygen, ambulance and first aid at this level and over 100 volunteers to execute the event, we at Perfect Harmony Productions tackled every little hiccup that came our way and received great appreciation from the artists, organizers and the 60,000 odd public for the execution of the festival, given the challenges of altitude and ambit of the events. After 3 months of meticulous planning, Naropa Festival now holds a Guiness Record for the largest Projection Mapping at any festival in the World.
